• Welcome to Oak Mountain

    We hope you'll join us Sunday mornings at 8:15 am or 10:45 am for worship. Our worship style is contemporary, with a programming balance of praise songs and traditional hymns of the Church. Our message each week presents the gospel of grace as it relates to our salvation and to our relationships with God and each other. Sunday School classes meet each week at 9:30 am.

  • Discover OMPC

    Each week, we offer a Discover OMPC Adult Discipleship class at 9:30 am. This is the perfect class to attend if you are interested in learning more about OMPC. Normally on Sunday evenings our Senior Pastor, Bob Flayhart, leads a Newcomer's Life Group at 5:30 pm. This group will resume this Fall.

Oakidz Crossroads56 Boys Leader

Oakidz at OMPC is seeking to hire a boys leader for Crossroads 56.  Crossroads 56 is our 5th and 6th grade ministry at Oak Mountain. We minister to the important needs of preteens as they begin making life decisions, grow in their understanding of God, and prepare for the excitement and challenges of being a teenager.  Due to different needs and topics, Crossroads 56 is divided and taught by gender.

Applicants must be a professed believer in Christ and agree to promote the Purpose, Vision and Values of OMPC.  Applicants must be willing to work 10 hours per week.  It is preferred that a woman and a man be hired to coordinate each gender division of Crossroads. Married couples are welcome and encouraged to apply.  Please contact Barbara Lindsey if you are interested.  

Substitute Receptionist

We're looking for OMPC members who are friendly people and who enjoy answering the phone and welcoming guests to serve as a substitute for our regular receptionists as needed. Please contact Christy Scotch if you are interested in being considered for this position. 

Assistant Facilities Manager

Candidates must be Christian with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and “handyman” skills. Computer skills also preferred. High priority placed on excellent customer service skills, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Must be able to handle physically demanding projects such as light construction and movement of furniture. Will perform first-call maintenance, projects, room setups and day-to-day response to facilities-related and operational issues on the property and in our buildings at the direction of the Facilities Manager.
