The Treehouse Early Learning Center of Oak Mountain is an outreach ministry that serves our congregation and the surrounding community. Our desire is to provide families with a safe, quality program for children from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Children must be at least 12 months old as of September 1 and walking in order to enroll. The cut-off for each age group is also September 1. All classes are based on enrollment. Please see the Registration Form for more information.
To schedule a tour, or to receive more information, please contact Treehouse Director, Angel Duke, or call 981.4330.
Our curriculum promotes children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth through Bible stories, music, crafts, play time, chapel and classroom instruction. All Bible lessons are taught from a Reformed perspective, reflecting our beliefs at OMPC. Instruction is given according to age and developmental levels. Each class is under the direction of two teachers, with the exception of our TK class. For the K4 classes, we include elements of preparation for kindergarten, as well as a weekly Spanish class for children in the 3-year-old and K4 classes.
Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program is designed for children that have completed a K4 program. TK gives the gift of time to children who need another year to develop physically, socially, or academically before entering kindergarten. Our TK program has a comprehensive curriculum that will allow children to be more confident as they move to the next level of academic achievement.
