• Welcome to Oak Mountain

We hope you'll join us Sunday mornings at 8:15 am or 10:45 am for worship. Our worship style is contemporary, with a programming balance of praise songs and traditional hymns of the Church. Our message each week presents the gospel of grace as it relates to our salvation and to our relationships with God and each other. Sunday School classes meet each week at 9:30 am.

Wheeler Family Benefit

Please make plans to join us Thursday, March 13 from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm for a special benefit concert featuring the beautiful and inspiring music of Gracie Schram.

Brought to you by InSpero, Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church and the Westminster School, this special concert will benefit The Wheeler Family - OMPC members currently serving as missionaries to Bundibugyo, Uganda.

When: Thursday, March 13
What Time: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Where: The OMPC Youth House
Cost: $10 at the door. Come as you are!

More about Gracie Schram:

“You’re too young… You’ll never be able to make a difference… No one in the music industry has ever heard of you.”

These are the voices that Gracie Schram chose to resist and defy.

When she was only 10 years old, Gracie heard for the first time about the seemingly hopeless living conditions of millions in Africa. Rather than simply respond with sadness and sympathy Gracie decided she had to take action. Her plan of action was straightforward: make a simple recording of songs she had written as a child and donate the profits to those in need. The response exceeded everyone’s expectations – to date, over $30,000 has been raised and resulted in building two fish ponds in Africa and an orphan home in Haiti. For her efforts, Gracie was honored as a Prudential Spirit of Community national winner. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program is the United States' largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service.

Now 15 years old, Gracie has matured exponentially as a singer songwriter. She is a sophomore in high school in Leawood, KS and has spent the past 2 years traveling to Nashville monthly to hone her craft. Eventually her music garnered the attention of Grammy Award winning producer, Charlie Peacock (The Civil Wars, Switchfoot, The Lone Bellow, Holly Williams, and Chris Cornell) who is co-publishing and producing her current project. Her national debut album, I Am Me, on Twenty Ten Music, will release in the spring of 2014.
