When Anger Hurts
"Anger exposes what we value and expresses our willingness to do what is required to reach that value," Chip Dodd, The Voice of the Heart. However, impaired anger–when we don’t know what to do with the emotion–can often lead to pride and depression hurting the ones we love most, and ultimately causing pain for ourselves. Using the Gospel Waltz model and time-tested methods, we will explore in a safe place how to better deal with anger. Each group will be facilitated by a licensed Christian Counselor along with a certified Christian Life Coach to follow up with you during the week. The group is open to couples and individuals on August 22,29; September 5,12,19, & 26 at the Waterstone Counseling Office (4518 Valleydale Road, Suite 201) for 6 weeks. Cost is $150 for non-members and $100 for OMPC members or regular attenders. Space is limited to 12 per group so RSVP soon with Heather Parker.
