• Welcome to Oak Mountain

    We hope you'll join us Sunday mornings at 8:15 am or 10:45 am for worship. Our worship style is contemporary, with a programming balance of praise songs and traditional hymns of the Church. Our message each week presents the gospel of grace as it relates to our salvation and to our relationships with God and each other. Sunday School classes meet each week at 9:30 am.

  • Discover OMPC

    Each week, we offer a Discover OMPC Adult Discipleship class at 9:30 am. This is the perfect class to attend if you are interested in learning more about OMPC. Normally on Sunday evenings our Senior Pastor, Bob Flayhart, leads a Newcomer's Life Group at 5:30 pm. This group will resume this Fall.

Jobs for Life Mentors Needed

Jobs for Life is an 8-week class for those hoping to gain life skills for employment, and we need mentors to help walk alongside participants. Jobs for Life is coordinated by Clerestory,  This class meets Thursdays (5:30-8:00 pm) at Third Presbyterian Church & Sundays (3-5 pm) at Church of the Reconciler in Fairfield. Classes begin September 14. 


Mentor: Each student will have a mentor. We will do team mentoring which means that you won’t have to be at every meeting in order to serve in this way.

Sunday Snack Volunteer: Provide a Sunday snack & water bottles

Thursday Meal Volunteer: Donate money for Thursday meal or provide and deliver meal to Third Presbyterian Church.

Donate Automobile: Donate a car through Clerestory to be sold to students in the class who need transportation to a job.

Business Recruiter: Use business contacts to find jobs for graduates. Business Owner: Agree to interview graduates for job openings.

Prayer Partner: Commit to pray regularly for participants, mentors, facilitators, and Clerestory leaders.=

Childcare: Help with childcare of participants or mentors.
