• Welcome to Oak Mountain

We hope you'll join us Sunday mornings at 8:15 am or 10:45 am for worship. Our worship style is contemporary, with a programming balance of praise songs and traditional hymns of the Church. Our message each week presents the gospel of grace as it relates to our salvation and to our relationships with God and each other. Sunday School classes meet each week at 9:30 am.

July Prayer Focus: Created For A Purpose

Created for a Purpose is a week-long creative arts program that teaches girls 3rd - 8th grade that they are a unique masterpiece created by God.  Each day is packed with hands on activities and Biblical teaching that emphasizes that God has made everyone with different talents and skills to be used for His glory and His purposes.  Girls learn that even though they are created perfectly they are not perfect; they are sinners and they need a Savior. This ministry allows girls to be girls: to create, to sing, to be silly and to learn about Jesus Christ in a way that impacts how they live their lives.  Cooking, painting, sewing and sculpture are just a few of the creative arts that the girls are exposed to throughout the week. They walk away with tangible reminders of the God who has made them, loves them, has saved them and desires a relationship with them!

This summer, we are welcoming 90 girls into our program, including over 60% who do not attend OMPC.  We humbly ask for prayer for these girls and for our staff of over 40 women that will minster to these girls throughout the week.

We also would like to welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about our program to our art show on July 22nd at 1:30 p.m. in the OMPC gym.
