• Welcome to Oak Mountain

We hope you'll join us Sunday mornings at 8:15 am or 10:45 am for worship. Our worship style is contemporary, with a programming balance of praise songs and traditional hymns of the Church. Our message each week presents the gospel of grace as it relates to our salvation and to our relationships with God and each other. Sunday School classes meet each week at 9:30 am.

Route 1520

Route 1520 is a ministry to men and women who are recovering from pornography and/or sexual addiction. Led by OMPC members Tray and Melody Lovvorn, Route 1520’s approach for helping men and women recover from addition uses Christ-centered recovery groups. This creates a culture of authenticity and transparency for individuals to be free to connect through weakness and be given help and support to walk the road to recovery. This is their three step process:

  • EMBARK Men’s Recovery Intensive
  • Recovery Curriculum
  • Christ-centered recovery groups

You can learn more about these steps and their programs online.

Tray and Melody’s Story:
Tray and Melody were married for 11 years before his struggle with pornography and sexual addiction ripped their family apart. This tragic upheaval left both of them reeling and disrupted their status quo, to say the least. The appearance of the “perfect” life that they both worked so hard to maintain came crashing down all around them.

After 6 years of divorce, they were remarried. Tray and Melody love to share how God used their painful circumstances to bring each of them to a new understanding of grace and the unconditional love of their Heavenly Father. It was this new paradigm that ultimately led to their reconciliation and the restoration of their family. They call this their "new normal."
