• Welcome to Oak Mountain

    We hope you'll join us Sunday mornings at 8:15 am or 10:45 am for worship. Our worship style is contemporary, with a programming balance of praise songs and traditional hymns of the Church. Our message each week presents the gospel of grace as it relates to our salvation and to our relationships with God and each other. Sunday School classes meet each week at 9:30 am.

  • Discover OMPC

    Each week, we offer a Discover OMPC Adult Discipleship class at 9:30 am. This is the perfect class to attend if you are interested in learning more about OMPC. Normally on Sunday evenings our Senior Pastor, Bob Flayhart, leads a Newcomer's Life Group at 5:30 pm. This group will resume this Fall.

Upcoming Inspero Events

Inspero invites you to two exciting events this May. Magic City Storytellers: A Night of Story and Song on May 14 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at The Clubhouse on Highland.  There will be readings and music by local writers, poets and songwriters including Joel Madison Blount. There will be a milk and cookie happy hour for grown-ups during intermission provided by Baking Bandits. Waiting for the Muse: Pentecost, the Holy Spirit, and the Mystery of the Creative Process on Sunday, May 17 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Independent Presbyterian Church. This is a Pentecost service led by Pastor David Seamon featuring music and musing on the mystery of the creative process. Music provided by Joel Madison Blount Band with artists on the pottery wheel. Reception to follow.
