GRACE DRIVEN

But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord.

WORSHIP MINISTRY

Each year, our OMPC Worship Choir leads the congregation in special services during Holy Week and Advent to lead our hearts in worship during each of those significant seasons. You can watch the full replays of each service through the images below!

KIDS CHOIR

Our Kids Choir includes children from 1st-6th grades. They meet Sunday evenings before The R.O.C.K. and prepare seasonally for the Kids Musical (Spring) and Christmas Worship Service (Fall). The 2025 Kids Musical, “Coming Home,” is featured below.

Worship Ministry at OMPC is more than just what is seen and experienced on a Sunday Morning. Our Worship Minister, Jason Sears, gathers musicians of all ages, stages and levels to bring variety, foster growth, and shepherd hearts through Worship Ministry at OMPC. Take a look at some photos below that show a glimpse into Worship Ministry at OMPC!

2025 Church-Wide Reading Plan

We continued to encourage OMPC to read through Scripture daily in 2025 by using the Seeing Jesus Together Journal with our 2025 New Testament Reading Plan. Journals were distributed in December and the reading plan was referenced weekly as a part of our Call to Worship on Sunday mornings. To kick off the year, Journal Founder Tedd Sinn led us through a training during lunch in January to get the most out of our time in the journal this year!

OMPC STAFF UPDATES

One of our staff highlights this year was Braxton Baker, our (former) Youth Director becoming an ordained Pastor in the PCA and now serving as OMPC Youth Ministry Pastor. An ordination service was held for Braxton on Sunday evening, August 24, and the support for Braxton and his family was overwhelming!

In addition to working hard, our staff plays hard as well! Twice a year we spend time connecting with one another; in May we have a Staff Pickleball Tournament and in December we have a Staff Christmas Party. These gatherings, on top of daily/weekly interpersonal connection, allow us to become relationally authentic with one another, embodying one of our values as a church.

Being Kingdom-Oriented is also important to our staff team. We sent 16 of our staff team members on Missions Trips this Summer! Our Staff Team isn’t here to just get the job done but to also implement the values of OMPC in their work and extracurricular priorities.

It’s been another great year for Westminster School at Oak Mountain! Our new Community Life Center is well underway with an estimated completion of Spring 2026, and our students continue to grow and excel in wisdom, virtue and eloquence.
