Women's Fall Bible Studies

Women’s Bible Studies are a great way to grow in your understanding of God’s Word, as well as in fellowship with other believers at OMPC. This Fall, we are offering three different studies:

Garden to Glory by Courtney Doctor
Pam Turner
Wednesday 10am; S-185

Many of us read the Bible and miss the fact that it is one great overarching story of God’s plan to redeem us for his own glory. From Genesis to Revelation, we will take a bird’s eye view of this story and God’s mission to redeem all things (including YOU)! This engaging journey through scripture will deepen your gratitude and awe as you discover how the God of the whole Bible has stopped at nothing to bring you back to himself. Join us on Wednesday mornings as we celebrate how precious we are in God’s sight and how he has loved us from every moment through all of history (His story).

Loving the Word
Sue Harris
Wednesday; 7-8:30pm; S-180

Do you struggle to read the Bible every day? Many studies indicate that time management or even intimidation, being afraid of falling into some random heresy and walking away from the faith, scare people away from personal time with the Lord. All of us, however, can grow in our understanding of scripture and the word of God brings life to the believer. Join us for an eight-week study on how to study scripture as we grow in love for the Lord and his word.

Esther; Daring Faith for Such Time As This by Kelly Minter
Christine Bracewell
Thursday; 9:30am S-180
In every place, at all times, God is faithful. Do you believe that? Or do you look at the circumstances of your life and wonder, "God, where are you? Why can't I hear you?" The book of Esther is not the story of a heroine who saves her people. It is the story of a broken, scattered people, whose God seemed to have forgotten them. And it is ultimately as tory of a God who is faithful to keep HIs promises, and whose hand is at work in every scene and circumstance of our lives. Come study the book of Esther and be reminded that we serve a God who is never silent.

All Studies begin the week of September 7!
